About Dipton Mill Inn

Tucked into a wooded valley just a few minutes from Hexham, the Dipton Mill Inn is a cosy country pub with low ceilings, wood panelling and real fireplaces, set beside a mill stream in a sunken garden. It is best known as the tap house for the Hexhamshire Brewery, whose ales are brewed on site, giving the pub genuine control over what is poured across the bar. The combination of a rural, off-the-beaten-track setting and its own-brew credentials has made it a favourite among real-ale enthusiasts in the Tyne Valley.

The kitchen serves traditional home-cooked food, with a blackboard of daily specials alongside familiar pub favourites. Its reputation has been recognised repeatedly by CAMRA, including the Tyneside & Northumberland Campaign for Real Ale's Northumberland Pub of the Year award, as well as Value Pub of the Year and Own-Brew Pub of the Year honours.
