About Vercelli Restaurant

Vercelli is a family-run modern Italian restaurant occupying a central position on Priestpopple in Hexham. The family has spent several years modernising the venue with the aim of providing a memorable experience, and every member is involved in running it. The team places great emphasis on building relationships with returning customers while welcoming newcomers, and actively supports local community initiatives and charities.

Executive Chef Jordan and Head Chef Sam source Italian provisions to create high-quality dishes with a modern twist, from traditional favourites such as rigatoni bolognese and margherita pizza to contemporary options like pizza nduja and rigatoni salmone, alongside an expanded vegan menu catering for dietary needs and allergies. A modern cocktail bar at the front of the restaurant hosts regular live music nights and serves wines, beers, ciders, spirits and handcrafted cocktails and mocktails, with a bottomless lunch offered on Saturdays.
