About Tynedale RFC

Tynedale RFC is a rugby union club based at Tynedale Park on Station Road in Corbridge, in the heart of the Tyne Valley. Founded in 1876, the club is celebrating 150 years of rugby in the 2026–27 season, a landmark that also marks 50 years since Tynedale moved from Dene Park in Hexham to its present Corbridge home. One of Northumberland's oldest and best-known clubs, it plays in National League 2 North and is affiliated to the Rugby Football Union, National League Rugby and the Northumberland RFU.

The club runs a broad playing programme built around its senior sides and a large junior section. It regularly fields four senior men's teams, a senior women's side and a women's touch rugby team, alongside male and female age-grade sides spanning ages six to eighteen, plus weekly mixed family touch rugby sessions. Tynedale Park also hosts events such as the Tynedale 7s tournament, and the club marked its anniversary year with commemorative kit and a series of celebration events including a 150th Anniversary Ball.
