About Small World Cafe
The Small World Cafe is a family-run, licensed coffee shop on Hexham's Market Place, occupying one of the best positions in town with large picture windows looking out over the Abbey, the Moot Hall and the market square. Warm and welcoming, it has become one of Hexham's most highly rated coffee shops on review sites and is popular with both regulars and the many tourists who visit the town.
The cafe prides itself on serving fresh homemade food, sourcing as many products locally as possible, including locally produced dairy. The menu runs from quality teas and coffees to sandwiches, soups, salads and homemade cakes and scones, with items such as cheesecakes among the sweet options. Long a Monday-to-Saturday fixture, it has more recently extended its opening to Sundays, cementing its place as a reliable spot for coffee and a light lunch in the heart of Hexham.
