The Sele Medical Practice is an NHS GP surgery at Hexham Primary Care Centre on Corbridge Road, providing primary medical services to Hexham and the surrounding villages. It works from purpose-built premises on the site of Hexham General Hospital, shared with another GP practice, with step-free access, all facilities on the ground floor, and dedicated disabled parking to the front. The practice holds a Care Quality Commission rating of Good and is currently accepting new patients.

The surgery is staffed by three GP partners and two salaried GPs, and is a recognised training practice with GP registrars allocated as part of postgraduate medical training. Alongside standard appointments, repeat prescriptions and test results, it offers minor surgery in-house, such as the removal of moles and skin lesions. Patients can also use eConsult for non-urgent matters and access services through the NHS App, supported by a Patient Participation Group.
