Pennington Opticians is a long-established independent opticians on Hexham's Market Place, offering a friendly, personal service in a town-centre setting. The practice was founded by Mrs Pennington more than twenty-five years ago and has since been refurbished, including an enlarged test room. It continues under optometrist Mrs J. A. Hicks, who took over from Mrs Pennington and brings many years of experience gained in both hospital and independent practice.
