About Optimus Drive
Optimus Drive is a driving school based in Hexham, run by instructor Dave and Steph who handles bookings, offering both manual and automatic lessons to learners across Hexham and the surrounding Tyne Valley. As a mobile instructor they pick up and drop off around town, and pupils practise on the exact local roads used on test day, from the quieter residential streets for early lessons up to the national-speed-limit rural roads that feature on the Hexham test route.
As well as standard weekly lessons the school offers block bookings, intensive courses for those wanting to pass more quickly, and young driver sessions for 14 to 17 year olds on private land.
