About This Event

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the replica Roman kiln at Vindolanda is being filled with around 200 votive breasts made by Potted History, alongside figures linked to health and healing such as Artemis of Ephesus and Cucullatus, plus pieces made by a local Scout group. The firing was rearranged from 24 October because of the weather. The event raises awareness and money for Breast Cancer Now, with Potted History making a donation. Pieces from the firing can be bought directly from Potted History.
