The town's twice-monthly farmers' market fills the Market Place with local producers selling meat, cheese, bread, preserves and seasonal produce.
About This Event
Held on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, Hexham Farmers' Market brings a rotating line-up of Northumberland producers to the historic Market Place beside the Abbey. Stalls typically offer locally reared meat, artisan cheese, freshly baked bread, preserves, plants and seasonal produce, all sold direct by the people who make and grow them. Entry is free and the market runs from 9am to about 1:30pm.
