Robson & Sons is a traditional family butcher at 2 Meal Market in the centre of Hexham, supplying quality meat to the public and the catering trade since 1894. The shop has a long history on the Meal Market, where photographs from around 1930 record the Robson family outside the premises with their prize cups and certificates. More than a century on, it remains a well-regarded independent butcher known for friendly, personal service and local sourcing.
The counter stocks beef, lamb, pork, bacon and ham, and the shop is best known for its award-winning sausages, made fresh on the premises each day. Alongside everyday cuts it offers items such as rib-eye steaks and its own Hexham sausages, catering for both household shoppers and local businesses.
