Bob's Barbers is a long-standing men's barbershop in central Hexham, run by owner Jill Armstrong and approaching its thirtieth year in the town. Originally based on Hallstile Bank, the shop relocated to St Mary's Chare after a chimney from the neighbouring Ex-Servicemen's Club collapsed and damaged the premises; what began as a temporary move was later made permanent, with the business now settled in the new space in the heart of the town's shopping quarter.
The barbershop offers a full range of traditional men's grooming, including haircuts and styling, beard trims, head shaves and men's wet shaves. It has built a loyal local following over nearly three decades, reflected in consistently strong customer reviews, and its central St Mary's Chare location keeps it within easy reach of the shops and businesses around the Market Place.
