About This Event

Led by the town's volunteer heritage guides, this free 90-minute walking tour takes in Hexham's 800-year story — the Old Gaol (England's oldest purpose-built prison), Hexham House, the historic marketplace and Hexham Abbey. It sets off from the Queen's Hall foyer. The tour is free but must be booked in advance through the Queen's Hall box office.
