Hexham Farmers' Market fills the Market Place in front of the Abbey on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, with local producers selling meat, cheese, bread, vegetables, baking and preserves direct to shoppers. This mid-November market runs from 9am to 1.30pm, and Meet the Makers runs alongside it in the Queen's Hall foyer the same morning. The next market is on Saturday 28 November.
