GlastonAbbey 2026
Two-day outdoor music festival on Hexham Abbey's cloister lawn, tribute acts, live bands, food vans and a festival atmosphere. Fri 31 July & Sat 1 August, each night 6pm-11pm.
About This Event
GlastonAbbey returns to Hexham Abbey's cloister lawn for a third year, two evenings of tribute acts and local talent staged while Glastonbury takes a fallow year. Friday 31 July is headlined by Fleetwood Mac tribute Fleeting Rumours, joined by Gerry Cinnamon tribute Geordie Cinnamon and local country-rock favourite Jason Arnup, back after acclaim in 2025. Saturday 1 August brings Jack Bowater's Ed Sheeran Songbook, Arctic Monkeys tribute Arctic Flunkies and, closing the weekend, Oasis tribute Oasis 96. Each night runs from around 6pm to a strict 11pm noise curfew. New for 2026 are two bar service points (including tea and coffee), both indoor and outdoor toilets and more food vans. Chairs and picnic rugs are allowed, but seated spots are placed towards the rear so standing crowds keep their view. Tickets start at £18 per night or £28 for a two-day pass, with reduced prices for children aged 12-16; it is an over-12s event.
