About GRO Plant Studio
GRO Plant Studio is an independent plant shop and creative workshop space run by Victoria and Mark Cox at South Acomb Business Park in Stocksfield. The shop stocks a chosen range of houseplants, unusual varieties and botanical gifts, and the couple fitted out the premises themselves with vintage furniture sourced from around the North East. Upstairs, the Plant Lab is a hands-on space for terrarium-making sessions, creative workshops, children's parties and private group bookings, with seasonal activities including Christmas wreath-making. It's aimed as much at people who want to spend time and make something as at those simply buying a plant.
