About This Event
Whitley Bay Carnival returns with this year's theme of Folk, celebrating storytelling, heritage, and traditions old and new. The parade sets off from Whitley Bay Metro Station at 11am, winding through to Spanish City Plaza. Giant folk characters, costumed promenaders, and live music lead the procession, with entertainment continuing on stages along the promenade until fireworks at 10pm.
