Royal Northern Sinfonia — the chamber orchestra of The Glasshouse (formerly Sage Gateshead) — brings its summer tour to Hexham Abbey for what promises to be one of the musical highlights of the season. Violinist Charlotte Scott joins the orchestra for a programme described as "lyrical, sparkling, sunlight on strings." Hexham Abbey's soaring nave provides one of the finest concert settings in the North East, with acoustics that bring chamber music vividly to life.
