Queen by Candlelight transforms Newcastle Cathedral into a candlelit celebration of rock's greatest anthems. Part of the Concerts by Candlelight series — which has previously sold out at Carnegie Hall and the London Palladium — the show features a spectacular cast of West End singers accompanied by a live rock band, performing the music of Freddie Mercury, Brian May and Queen in the atmospheric glow of hundreds of candles. Expect show-stopping renditions of Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions, Somebody to Love, Who Wants to Live Forever and many more, all given fresh power by the Cathedral's extraordinary acoustics. A fully licensed bar is available before the show and during the interval. The combination of one of the most iconic song catalogues in rock history with the stunning medieval surroundings makes this a genuinely unmissable evening.
