About This Event

Horrible Histories: Terrible Tudors storms into Northern Stage, bringing the bestselling children's book series hilariously to life on stage. Produced by the Birmingham Stage Company — who have been touring Horrible Histories live shows for over a decade across the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and beyond — this production uses actors and eye-popping 3D special effects to plunge audiences into the gruesome world of the Tudor dynasty. From the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth, audiences will discover the fate of Henry's headless wives and his punch-up with the Pope, and meet Bloody Mary in all her terrifying glory. Recommended for ages five and above, 3D glasses are provided. Running alongside the companion show Awful Egyptians, families can make a full day of it by booking tickets for both productions.
