About This Event
Aln Valley Railway marks the 60th anniversary of the final steam-hauled passenger train on the Alnmouth to Alnwick branch line. Steam locomotive Renishaw will haul goods wagons during the day to evoke the branch line's working history, and a limited number of ticket holders can ride in the directors' coach. The weekend also celebrates diesel locomotive Shirley's 75th birthday.
